Motherhood

Sometimes I enjoy my children a bit more when they are sick. They are quiet, cuddly, and down right sweet. Clay is definitely the sicklier of the two kids. Yesterday he told me he didn't feel good and he "didn't think it was a good day to go to church." I dismissed his words and off to church we went.

Driving home he clasped his hands over his mouth, his eyes wide; I knew what was coming. Luckily we made it into the bushes in front of Starbucks. Feeling somewhat guilty, I took him straight home and tucked him into my bed with a good Star Wars movie. He looked like an angel curled up in my bed. After he woke up from his nap the following happened.

This is for all you mother's out there.

Clay said he was hungry for skyline and he felt great

2 hour later, there was skyline all over my kitchen floor.

He woke up early dry heaving in my toilet.

Exclaimed that he was "starved" and wanted something to eat.

Allowed the appropriate Saltine crackers (that I had to borrow from a neighbor).

Clay then says that he wants to slip-n-slide outside.

I think he is better and take him to Dorthy Lane.

*****Dorthy Lane is the Martha Stewart of grocery stores. Everything is perfect.
As we walk into DL, Clay begins to vomit..... again.

We head out to the car and some sort of eagle/hawk beast decided to drop his bowels all over my car window.

Clay states that he is again better and wants Burger King french fries.

I give in because ff do make you feel better, as soon as I get them he says that diarrhea is coming out of his bottom.

We made it home.....barely

We are staying put.

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

P.S. He got his tooth knocked out on Saturday!!

OH-MY-GOODNESS. I hate to admit that I was laughing hilariously, but I was. Is he really all better now?
