Packing

I have a friend at work who is extremely organized. She has her vacation days along with restaurant reservations a year in advance. She knows who she is.... I think she would be proud of my packing skills for the trip. I am limited to 1 bag which is just wrong, but with the help of vacuum pack bags and light clothing I was able to do it.

Trying to consider every possible scenario, I have packed the following products.

  • Mirlax- to help with travel gut issues

  • PooPourri- in case the miralx kicks in

  • breath right strips- for a congested nose and possible cold

  • progesterone pills (px by my awesome GYN) to keep the menstrual monster away

  • lots of female products in preparation for the menstrual monster

  • handy wipes for everything

  • tea bags and snacks

  • portable DVD and exercise videos (hard time deciding which DVD's to pack: decided on Turbo Jam and Dancing with the Stars Latin style)

Today I am melancholy. My work colleagues and I are supposed to move into our new office today and there is a furious snow blizzard so I am stuck. I will be away from my husband for 7 days and I can't remember if we have ever been separated this long before. My kidos are sad but keeping asking for gifts. Clay wants me to bring home crystals from Indiana Jones's temple. Please pray for me that I return home safely to my family. If I don't Bryan is absolutely not to re-marry, until he is 70 and things are no longer working.

God has already started working on me. The first issue is Pride. I am required to wear a team T-shirt to the airport tomorrow. Whenever required to do something I rebel. This will be very hard for me. The shirt is BRIGHT ORANGE with Black letters. A man designed it, go figure. A woman would not of designed this awful shirt. Worst.... it says..... I BELIZE.....what in the world. So my pride is brewing. I have decided to wear a nice cardigan to try and camouflage the orangeness.

My roomie is picking me up at 0445. I hope to update this tomorrow evening from a warmer climate. Love you all.
