OH MY!!! Those of you in Ohio can hate me for 1 minute. Today we had fun. I snorkeled with NEMO. Literally, I saw the turtles, the blue fish, barracuda's, tuna, sting-ray, you name it. It was a lovely picture of God's creative hand. Then we spent the day hanging out in San Perdo. We beached, we ate real food for the first time and shopped tacky tourist shops.
Lets start with the plane. A total puddle hopper. Bryan would of hated it. It was actually better than the big plane. A 16 minute flight to paradise. Lets talk food. I had red snapper, ceviche and a mojito. LOVELY. Beans and rice gets old after a week.
My friends Beth and Jeff went shopping with me to buy goodies for my kidos. We got raided by the jewelry people and gave in. Jeff bought a very cool bowl and Beth got a beautiful embroidered table cloth.
Our friends have come to dinner tonight. Soraya and her family, Lupita and her family. We are already planning next year.
Nothing very funny happened today, but my friends are reminding me of other days. So here is one of those stories.
I asked Dr. Rick why my ears felt fuzzy after I had 2 glasses of wine. He and Dr. Thomas immediately said b/c I was allergic to Sulfites. I went nuts. "Am I allergic to wine?" They basically said yes. Okay what is that telling me? Then my friend Beth started singing a song written originally by the Stones called ANGIE. She substituted the words for things like..... Angie has a scoliotic septum, Angie is allergic to sulfate and must switch to beer. etc... you had to be there. Hilarious.
I need to express what I have learned and I will do it point by point. I have learned a lot.
Americans are spoiled
People with less in other countries are more appreciative
People in the states with less are more demanding
There are too many dogs
I packed way too much
God can use ANYBODY!!!!!
God is a wonderful creator.
You can make new friends at any point in your life.
Miralax is a wonderful drug
Always bring female products: regardless of the time
God may call you to something that makes you uncomfortable

Hi Angie - It certainly has been a pleasure following along with you... You are a true example of selflessness, goodness and discipleship. Thank you for insight into another world most of us are not familiar with or comfortable with. Please thank the rest of your crew for me for their sacrifice, talent and compassion.
I pray your journey home is safe and uneventful.
We miss you, Bryan, Grace and Clay so much! I'm blessed to know you.
Love -
Bonni
Hello Angie,
Your blog is wonderful! What an adventuresome journey as I followed you to Belize. I found Belize on the map to learn it was on the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Such beauty, intrigue and success you were a part of. I love you and your family! Thank you for giving of your life to others.
Your friend, Sue Martin
