I've been home now for 5 days and I am still exhausted. Usually I don't get this worn out but I suppose I'm getting older. On Monday I returned to work and I am trying to catch up there along with home.
We ran into Dr. DeVore, Cindy, Diane and George at church on Sunday. That was sweet. We got to reminisce and hang out a bit.
Life here is so complicated, so busy. I miss the simple style in Belize. The news is driving me crazy, the emails, phone calls, politics, and appointments are piling up. I used to want to be busy all the time. Always hanging out with people, now I want down time, alone time. I am getting old.
My prayer is that I will really take something away from my trip that will stick. Trips are good for a temporary fix, but it hardly lasts. Grace leaves for Mexico next week for her first missions trip. I am so excited for her. I hope to go as a family sometime. Maybe we will substitute vacations for mission trips. Its a better time. You don't worry about the weather, or what you will eat, what you will see or how many souvenirs to buy. No make-up, no work-outs, no worries. Until my next adventure I suppose I will end this blog. Love you all.

Angie,
I really enjoyed reading about your trip. The people you helped were so lucky to have you. I am sorry to hear you are allergic to wine, but don't let that change anything! :)
I was nervous for you while reading the post on the civil unrest and look forward to hearing the whole thing in person.
Kristen
